Brisbane Lunch Truck serves modern American comfort food.
Classic feel-good meals with a fresh take. Our menu features a fried chicken sandwich that will make you forget all the rest from the big chains. Our sandwiches are simultaneously familiar and surprising, and all come with house made chips and a cookie. Our soups are always made fresh. And we have multiple options on our menu for vegans and vegetarians.
History and Philosophy
Brisbane Lunch Truck opened in November of 2019. The business is rooted in service. Service to our customers, the community, and service to the environment, with a goal of keeping our footprint as light as possible.
The BLT is committed to making sustainable choices: We don't sell bottled water, we offer cold drinking water free of charge. We don't sell canned or bottled drinks, but instead fresh citrusade and house-brewed loose leaf hojicha (roasted green tea). We partner with Airborne Roasting--a socially conscious, small local coffee roaster. All service ware is compostable and we use paper bags--this is a more expensive choice, but avoids single use plastics. Reusable mugs and silicone straws with carrying cases are for sale. We partner with San Bruno Mountain Watch and have all local native plants in our seating area, watered with using potato starch water from the kitchen.
