Brisbane Lunch Truck serves modern American comfort food.

Classic feel-good meals with a fresh take. Our sandwiches are simultaneously familiar and surprising, and all come with house made chips and a cookie. Our soups are always made fresh daily. We make our own vegan burger from scratch. Our Mid-Week Dinners To Go are complete meals, ready to pick up Tue-Thu late afternoons.

History and Philosophy

Brisbane Lunch Truck opened in November of 2019. The business is rooted in service. Service to our customers, the community, and service to the environment, with a goal of keeping our footprint as light as possible.

The BLT is committed to making sustainable choices: We don't sell bottled water, we offer cold drinking water free of charge. We don't sell canned or bottled drinks, but instead offer fresh citrusade and house-brewed loose leaf hojicha (roasted green tea) and homemade sodas. We partner with Airborne Roasting--a socially conscious, small local coffee roaster. All service ware is compostable and we use paper bags--this is a more expensive choice, but avoids single use plastics.  We have all local native plants in our seating area, watered with using potato starch water from the kitchen.

Our Founder

With a 30 year background in the food service industry and a passion for serving people great food, Kristi Yawata has long desired to provide a unique food option in Brisbane, California.

Kristi has been deeply involved in the Brisbane community for more than 15 years. A founding board member of the Silverspot Co-op preschool and former classroom aide at Brisbane Elementary School, Kristi has been feeding the community for more than a decade, catering school district events and fundraisers.
